Health is your happiness and your wealth!

You have probably come upon quotes or sayings that voice out the same thing. This is because one of the reasons why people are happy is because they are healthy. Without physical strength and an active body, there can be no real happiness since you will not be able to do and attain anything anymore.

This is why you do not have to ridicule those who are so conscious of what they eat and the exercise that they subject themselves into. They are just trying to maintain that healthy feeling because that is when they are most happy.

You too can improve the state you are into. It just might be the solution to the kind of happiness you have been looking for so long now. What do you need to do?

1. Exercise.

At first, it would seem that your body would not be able to endure all the physical hardships that go with exercising. Counteract these by having a positive mindset. Think results. Imagine what you will become some days from now.

With the kind of foods that are available to people today, it is no wonder why people die young. If you do want to live long enough to experience happiness, then you need to take care of your health in order to do that.

 

Choose the program that will fit your needs. Take it slow. There is no need to rush into these things. Eventually you will see the result of your hard work.

2. Be kind to yourself.

Some people think poorly of themselves. This is because they have low self-esteem. They think they do not have the physical aspects to make them feel loved and accepted. When this happens, you will find them unhappy. They are the type who retreats to their own world.

Your physical looks are not the basis of your happiness. There are more important factors leading to happiness than just appearances. There is health to consider.

What would you rather be? A good-looking person that is confined to medications and bouts of illnesses? Or an average one that is healthy and fit to enjoy socializing and doing things not everyone can do?

Do not downgrade yourself just because you are not perfect. No one is perfect. But everyone is liable to being happy no matter what they look like.

3. Diet change.

If you want to stay healthy, you should start considering your food intake more seriously. Are you living on junk foods and other instant meals that are not offering the vitamins and minerals that your body needs?

If you do not know what is good for you, review the elementary teachings about health. That is where you will find the kind of foods that will prove important to your health.

4. Health is more important than money.

A lot of people need money to be happy. If you are not healthy, will you be able to enjoy that money? Can your money save you when you get old?

The purpose of working is not to have too much money. The real reason behind is happiness. Money is just an object. This is just the drive that keeps you going.

Do some soul searching. Now is the best time for you to make your choice...

        Correcting My Raw Food Diet

Nick Polizzi wrote an article entitled "I Was Alarmingly Thin...Baby Steps to Better Health", from which he received a number of comments asking how he succeeded in regaining his health.  Today Nick has a follow up article to answer those questions.  Here's what he wrote...

 

"I received a number of comments asking how I succeeded in regaining great health following my 6 month foray into a hasty 100% Raw diet.  That said, I've decided to devote this week's post to a "Part 2" where I explain the choices I made that culminated in a full swing back to thriving equilibrium.

Once I realized that I was in trouble, I spent a week trying to figure out how to right my physiology.  I blazed through every tidbit of raw guru knowledge I could find online and in audio courses / books, and started putting together a new regimen.

The most important distinction I made was this:  Keeping weight on (for me at least) was a matter of boosting my intake of the good fats and proteins.  By good, I mean mono and polyunsaturated fats and amino acid rich sources of protein.

Here's a list of what I did (remember, I was only an amateur at this point so there's a mixed match of frantically assembled items here!)
